Obituary: Clarence O. Hahn

Clarence O. Hahn, 77, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Clarence Otto was born on December 4, 1936 the son of Clarence A. and Norma (Poetter) Hahn in the township of Beaver Dam. He was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School.  On October 8, 1955 he was united in marriage to Geraldine A. Hartl at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.

Clarence was a lifetime farmer in the town of Beaver Dam.  Together with his son Daniel, they farmed dairy cows, steers and cash crops.  He was a lifetime member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.  Throughout the years, Clarence enjoyed deer hunting and playing horseshoes. 

Clarence is survived by his son Daniel (Doris) Hahn of the town of Beaver Dam; also other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Geraldine and his daughter Andrea Beth.

Funeral Services for Clarence will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 300 West Street, Beaver Dam with the Rev. Philip Heyer officiating. A visitation will also be held on Friday, April 11th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be at Leipsig Cemetery in the town of Beaver Dam.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church-Window Fund.
