Shawn Alan Mueller, age 49 of Fox Lake, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at his home.
Shawn was born on June 1, 1964 in Milwaukee, the son of Eugene and Diane (nee Wigman) Mueller, Sr. After graduating from high school, he honorably served his country in the United States Army. Shawn was united in marriage to Laurie Miller on July 15, 1995 at her mother’s house in Fox Lake. He was self-employed as a truck driver and was an avid hunter.
Shawn is survived by his wife, Laurie Mueller of California; his children, Kayla (Dan) Lange and their children, Emily and Alexis of Clayton, WI, Kimberly Mueller (Mark) and her children, Aliyah, Adian and Ian of Hammond, WI, Shawn A. (Erin) Mueller Jr. and their son, Brody of Beaver Dam, and Ashley Mueller of Randolph; his siblings, Eugene (Mary) Mueller Jr. and their children of Horicon, Lance Mueller and his children of WI, Cheri Marie Mueller of Portage and Lisa Marie Dashner and her children of Texas, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mom and dad and other relatives.
A Funeral Service for Shawn will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam with Chaplain Dennis Richards officiating. Visitation will take place prior to the service at Cornerstone, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Riverside Memorial Park, Fox Lake with graveside military honors provided by Fox Lake American Legion Post 521, followed by a luncheon at Shawn’s house, N9544 Hwy 33, Fox Lake.
