Obituary: Ronald “Pete” Marsch

Ronald “Pete” Marsch, age 80 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.

Pete was born on September 19, 1933 to Walter and Lucy (Wild) Marsch in Horicon. On June 12, 1965 he was united in marriage to Kathleen “Kiki” Roedl. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked many years in medical sales for General Medical of Green Bay and Badger Medical of Madison. Pete loved the outdoors; he spent hours trimming and grooming his yard. He also enjoyed music, especially Jazz, traveling and sports, of which he was a diehard fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.

Pete is survived by his wife, Kathleen of Beaver Dam; his siblings, Gerald (Marlene) Marsch of Horicon, Joan (Jim) Schaefer of Lake Delton, David (Mary) Marsch of Horicon, Robert Marsch of Horicon, Sandra (Dick) Sternat of Horicon, Kathleen (John) Gaffney of Pewaukee and Mary (Kevin) Kreuziger of Horicon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Carol.

Private family services will be held at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam with Deacon Ed Cody officiating. Inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Beaver Dam with graveside military honors provided by John E. Miller American Legion Post 146. Memorials in Ronald’s memory may be directed to St. Katharine Drexel Parish for Masses.
