Rose A. Bruns, age 81 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014.
Rose was born in Crofton, NE on March 15, 1933, the daughter of Frank and Catherine (Vering) Boecker. Rose married Marvin Bruns on September 20, 1955 in Crofton, NE.
Rose is survived by her husband, Marvin of Beaver Dam; seven children including two daughters, Rita (Allen) Seltzner, Cleo (Gary) Paulman, and five sons, Keith (Phyllis), Joseph (Vicki), Verlin (Donna), William (Debbie) and Roger (Mary); 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Herbert Boecker of Bloomfield, NE; three sisters, Elizabeth Hoebelheinrich of Fordyce, NE, Hedwig Guenther of Reeseville, WI and Elfrieda Kollars of Brainard, MN; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Leo, Ewald and Alfred Boecker, and one sister, Gertrude Schieffer.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Rose will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Parish, 305 Green St., Fox Lake with Father Michael Wild presiding. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass at church, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Town of Beaver Dam.
