Obituary: Shirley Mae Noll

Shirley Mae Noll, age 86 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Shirley was born on March 19, 1928 in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Clarence and Maybelle (Krause) Osterthun. She worked for Pizza Villa, as well as Mary Kay Cosmetics. She had a strong faith in Jesus and was a former member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed crocheting, doing embroidery, reading, watching movies, being outdoors in the sun, taking rides, going out to eat and spending time with her family and friends. Despite battling many health issues over the past 30 years, she never hesitated to put her family first.

Shirley is survived by her four children, Timothy Noll of Pardeeville, Sally (Jack Otis) Noll, PhD of St. Paul, MN, her caregiver Linda “Lynn” Noll and Larry Noll, both of Beaver Dam; her grandson, Timothy Noll Jr. of Pardeeville and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Gloria Schultz; her daughter-in-law, Beverly Noll; her granddaughter, Valentine Noll and other relatives.

A Memorial Service for Shirley will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam with Father Mike Erwin officiating. A Memorial Gathering will be held prior to the service at Cornerstone, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
