Audrey J. (nee Keller) Balthazor, 84, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Hillside Manor surrounded by her family.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Rd., Beaver Dam with the Rev. Terry Larson officiating. A visitation will also be held on Saturday, September 13th from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
Audrey Jean was born the daughter of Earl and Clara (Wendt) Keller on February 13, 1930 in Beaver Dam. She was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School. Audrey was married to Jerome Balthazor in Fond du Lac. She was employed with Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac for 42 years until her retirement.
Audrey attended First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She was born and raised on a farm where her love of horses began. Audrey was a volunteer with the Free Spirit Riders in Fond du Lac and was a member of the Dodge County Boots and Saddle Club for many years. She will be remembered as devoting her free time to her many dogs.
Audrey is survived by her sister, Lois Ann (Lester) Cornell of Lowell; her nephews and nieces: Gregory (Joanne) Root, Craig (Amy) Root, Jill (Steve Lehmann) Root, and Dawn (John) Lunde; and further survived by many great nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerome, her sister, Elaine Keller and her niece, Lori Schneider.
