Frances A. Manske, 82, of Beaver Dam passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family.
Frances was born on February 8, 1932 to Frank and Lily (Peters) Yaktus in Beaver Dam. She was a 1950 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. On September 29, 1951, she was married to her best friend and love of her life, Jerry Manske. Frances was employed with Kirsh Foundry in Beaver Dam for 25 years.
Frances is survived by her son, William (Kirsten) Manske of Beaver Dam; her daughter, Lori (Kevin Lienke – Frances’s 2nd son) Jenkins of Beaver Dam; her grandchildren: Amber Manske, Andrew Jenkins, Heather Jenkins, Eric Lienke, Danielle Semple, Jenny Dawson, and Ashley Dawson; her great-grandchildren: Zyler Jenkins, Addler Jenkins, Mason Lull, Silas Lull and two more on the way; her special niece, Pam Peters; her sisters-in-law: Bernice Manske, Mary Yaktus and Sherry Yaktus; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerry in 2004, her daughter, Sandy Semple, her granddaughter, Shelli Semple, her sister, Phyllis Merrill, her brothers: Frank Yaktus, Roland Yaktus and Terry Yaktus, her brothers-in-law: Ray Manske, George Minor and Dutch Merrill, and her sisters-in-law: Eunice Minor and Marion Manske.
It was Frances’s wish that cremation take place and a private family memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.
Memorials may be directed to Hillside Homecare and Hospice of Beaver Dam.
