Obituary: Paul Leo Minnig

Paul Leo Minnig, age 47, of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly, as a result of a tragic car accident on Wednesday, October 15, 2014.

Paul was born on October 2, 1967 in Beaver Dam, WI to Walter and Bonnie Minnig. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1986. Paul enjoyed his employment as a heavy equipment operator at Speedway Sand & Gravel in Middleton. His hobbies included ice fishing, motorcycling, helping on the farm, splitting wood, being outdoors, fixing just about anything and spending time with his family and friends. Paul enjoyed full moons and his positive attitude about life will always be remembered.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Ava and her mother, Rachel Guenther, of Beaver Dam; his parents, Bonnie Minnig and Walter (Lolagene) Minnig, both of Beaver Dam; his sister, Penny (Tom) George of Beaver Dam; four brothers, Peter, Bill (Tinker), John (Laura), Randy (Tammy), all of Beaver Dam; his step-siblings, Correna (Terry) Bedker, Tony (Dawn) Kuzniewicz and Cindy (Jeff Hanson) Kuzniewicz, all of Beaver Dam; and is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and other relatives.

A Memorial Service for Paul will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam with Deacon Ed Cody officiating. A Memorial Gathering will take place prior to the service at Cornerstone, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
