Obituary: Earl W. Schultz

Earl W. Schultz, 81, of Beaver Dam passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison surrounded by his family.

On October 25, 1932, Aaron and Rose (Wheeler) Schultz were blessed with a son, Earl.  Earl grew into a handsome and wonderful man who went on to serve his country in the Korean War.  On February 2, 1957, he was married to the love of his life, Elaine Frank who would be his lifelong partner.  Together, they were blessed with three daughters: Debra (Allen) Tallman, Laura Lindsay and Barbara Stroede, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

On October 21, 2014, Earl went home to heaven to be with his departed parents, his sisters: Rosemary (Edward) Strieff and Joyce (Rick) Koepsell, his brother, Leroy (Mickey) Schultz and his baby granddaughter, Stacey Lynn Schultz.

Earl is further survived by one sister, Betty (Harry) Albrect of Rupert, Idaho, his sister-in-law, Darlene Schultz and many card playing and fishing buddies.

A celebration of Earl’s life will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Rd., Beaver Dam from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a time for sharing remembrances beginning at 7 p.m.
