Donna was born one of five children to Howard and Esther (Zimmermann) Horn on July 22, 1927 on her family’s farm in the Township of Oak Grove, WI.  Her brother Wallace only lived to the age of six.  Her mother died at the age of 39 and her father was killed in an automobile accident at the age of 49.  So, Grandma Horn was a big part of Donna’s life.

Donna was a member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.  Donna’s hobbies included playing cards, putting puzzles together, reading and gardening.  She also enjoyed traveling, especially with her daughter and her time spent in Alaska.

Donna is also survived by six grandchildren: Jennifer Krause, Heather Miller, Charles Krause, Daniel Miller, Jacob Miller, and Laura Miller; two great grandchildren: Kaylee and Conner Llewellyn; her two sisters: Betty Indermuhle and Pat (Robert) Messer both of Beaver Dam; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Robert, her second husband “Pete,” her brother, Wallace “Butch,” and her sister, Eunice “Pinky” Stofflet.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.
