William “Bill” L. Kennedy, age 61 of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, November 16, 2014.
Bill was born on July 6, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI to Alvin “Bill” W. and Theresia “Terri” (Doerflinger) Kennedy. He graduated from Waukesha South High School. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing softball and shooting pool. He was an avid Packers, Badgers and Brewers fan, and he also enjoyed deer hunting and ice fishing.
Bill is survived by his four children, Bill (Traci) Kennedy of Beaver Dam, Megan (Kevin) Lukas of Reedsburg, Brian Kennedy of Beaver Dam and Jared Kennedy of Beaver Dam; his granddaughters, McKenzie and Riley; his brother, James Kennedy of Horicon; his sisters, Loretta (Ron) Harvestine and Terry Carter, both of Hartland; the mother of his children, Nancy Kennedy; and is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and other relatives.
A gathering to celebrate Bill’s life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m at Pumpkin Center Sportsmen Club, N4840 Cty Rd I, Juneau.
