Jan Caughlin, age 64 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 23, 2014 surrounded by her family.
Jan was born on September 4, 1950 in Beaver Dam. She attended Beaver Dam High School. Jan was united in marriage to Richard Caughlin on January 31, 1970 in Beaver Dam. She worked at JC Penney in Beaver Dam for many years. Jan loved gardening, spending time in her greenhouse and enjoyed being affectionately known as the “Pickle Lady” at the local farmer’s market where she brought her produce for over 15 years. Christmas was always a special time of the year for Jan. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren, and treasured all of the time she spent with them.
Jan will be dearly missed by her husband, Richard of Beaver Dam; her children, Kerry (Paul) Wolfgram of Beaver Dam, Tracy (Jim) Lemke of Brillion and Gary (Monica) Caughlin of Greendale; her grandchildren, Dakota, Zak and Sydney Wolfgram, Tori and Tyler Lemke, Kaidin, Kaia and Kaylie Caughlin; and her two dogs, Sampson and Cocoa.
She was preceded in death by her in-laws, Ray and Esther Caughlin and other relatives.
A funeral service for Jan will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam with Rev. David Katsma officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service at Cornerstone, beginning at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at Cornerstone.
Inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
