Patricia “Patty” J. Carran, age 63 of Waupun, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
Patty was born on January 25, 1951 in Watertown, WI to Robert and Ruby (Froelich) Hinzmann. She was united in marriage to Joseph Carran on January 24, 2003. Patty worked as a registered nurse at Waupun Correctional Institute from 1986 until 2010. She thoroughly enjoyed her job and made many lasting friendships. She was very social and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Patty was the proud mother of a Marine and enjoyed showing her patriotism of all veterans. In her free time, she liked traveling, fishing, reading, playing cards and watching television. Her generous and caring heart will be dearly missed.
Patty is survived by her husband, Joseph of Waupun; her children, Ryan (Lindsey) Manske of Baldwin, WI and Tonya (Andrew) Maier of Appleton; her grandchild, Ruby Maier and one expected; her mother, Ruby (Dennis “Red”) Justman of Johnson Creek; her brother, Bob (Donna) Hinzmann of Johnson Creek; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Patty was preceded in death by her father and other relatives.
Visitation for Patty will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam. A graveside service will take place following the visitation at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Town of Beaver Dam.
