Obituary: Robert “Bob” B. Cramer

Robert “Bob” B. Cramer, age 77 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his home surrounded by family.

Bob was born on September 16, 1937 in Milwaukee, the son of George and Florence (Flasch) Cramer. Following high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was united in marriage to Lois Machkovitz on November 26, 1960 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. He worked at Purity Cheese for 19 years and was the owner of Crystal Creek Dairy House in Beaver Dam since 1979. Bob was a true handyman, and in his free time, Bob enjoyed gardening, bird watching and bowling in his earlier years.

Bob is survived by his wife, Lois of Beaver Dam; his five children, Roxanne Cramer, Cherie (Dave) Rieck, Bruce (Jessica) Cramer, Bob (Barb) Cramer and Renee Cramer; his grandchildren, Corinn, Mitch, Tony, Andrea, Alex, Ted, Ben and James; his siblings, Carol (Leon) Genz, Audrey (George) Goesch, Richard (Patti) Cramer, Barb (Tom) Seiler, Sharon (Bob) Haase, Karen (Dan) Banes, Susan (Charlie) Kelm, Sandra (Gordon) Arneson and Alan (Jean) Cramer; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Marge Cramer, Ruth Ferris, Shirley Machkovitz, Eileen Milton, Rosemarie (David) Hoefs; and further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Judy (Al) Kozcka, Tom (Bonnie) Cramer, Mike Cramer and Patricia Cramer; and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Jim (Sandy) Machkovitz, Eugene Machkovitz, Dean Milton, Gloria (Karl) Loeck and William Ferris.

A Memorial Service for Bob will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam with Chaplain Dennis Richards officiating. A Memorial Gathering will be held prior to the service at Cornerstone, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Immediately following the service, military honors will be presented by the John E. Miller American Legion Post 146. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Highland Memory Gardens, Town of Trenton.
