Obituary: Marguerite E. Schwoch

Marguerite E. Schwoch, 98, of Beaver Dam passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Remembrance Home in Beaver Dam where she resided for the past 10 years.

Marguerite was born the daughter of Leon and Julia (Miller) Whitmore on November 30, 1916 in Beaver Dam.  She was a 1934 graduate of Beaver Dam High School.  Marguerite was married to Robert Schwoch on July 1, 1939 in Beaver Dam in her parent’s living room.  She was employed as an office manager for F.W. Woolworth Co, and later with Gambles until her retirement.  Afterwards, she volunteered with Lakeview Nursing Home and Hillside Manor in the activities department.  Marguerite was a lifetime member of First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.

Marguerite is survived by her son, Robert L. (Beverly) Schwoch of Beaver Dam; and further survived by her nieces: Julie (Dick) Hagen and Cathy (Bob) Haney.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert in 1993, her sisters: Helen Whitmore and Ruth Renz and one brother in infancy. 

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Rd., Beaver Dam with the Rev. Terry Larson officiating.  A visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at the Miller, Whitmore and Schwoch family plots in Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
