Obituary: Roland R. Passow

Roland R. Passow, age 78 of Beaver Dam and formerly of Milwaukee, died Friday, February 6, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.

Roland was born on July 7, 1936 in Milwaukee, the son of Erwin Blank and Viola Passow. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was married to Bernadine Szalewski, the mother of his four children. He was later united in marriage to Sharon Lambert. Roland worked as a steel worker at Milwaukee Forge for over 30 years. He enjoyed doing puzzles, building models, camping, watching old movies and being outdoors.

Roland is survived by his children, Crystal (William) Beckman of West Bend, Roland (Cathy) Passow II of Burnett, Cindy Passow of St. Francis and Ken Passow of Burnett; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother; two sisters and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Roland was preceded in death by his parents, both wives, his sister and other relatives.

A memorial service for Roland will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam with Rev. Jeff Nicholas officiating. A memorial gathering will be held prior to the service at Cornerstone, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
