Obituary: Karen L. Clark

Karen L. Clark, age 58, of Reeseville, died peacefully in her home on Saturday, March 21, 2015 after a brave battle with cancer.

Visitation for Karen will be at Trinity Lutheran Church on CTR I south of Reeseville on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Funeral services will follow at church on Thursday beginning at 1:00 PM.  Rev. Matthew Martin will officiate.  Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

The former Karen Loriene Clark was born on November 7, 1956 in Hustisford, Wisconsin to LeRoy and Loriene (Lynch) Benninger.  After graduating from Dodgeland High School in 1974, she was united in marriage with Van Clark on July 27, 1974 in Reeseville.  Karen loved being a farmer’s wife and all that came with it; she especially enjoyed harvest season.  A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; she loved spending time with her family and treasured her grandchildren.  She enjoyed reading, traveling, ceramics, and gardening.  Karen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Reeseville. 

Survivors include her husband, Van Clark; two children, Eric (Lori) Clark and Jennifer (Bob “Wilson”) Albrecht, both of Reeseville; seven grandchildren, Brysen, Caleb, Atticus, and Katelyn Clark, and Ashlyn, Madisyn, and Kyson Albrecht; her mother, Loriene Benninger and brothers Albert (Carleen) Benninger and Carl Benninger all of Reeseville; two brothers-in-law, Jeff Clark and Tim (Annette) Clark, both of Reeseville; other relatives and friends.  Karen was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy Benninger and her sister-in-law, Karen A, Clark.

If desired, memorials may be made in Karen Clark’s name to Trinity Lutheran Church in Reeseville.
