Robert LaVern Harold Firari was born on July 18, 1929 in Lowell, Wisconsin to Louis and Ethel (Wiegert) Firari. On March 8, 1951, he was united in marriage with Phyllis Fanshaw at First Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She preceded him in death in 1968. Bob later married Gladys Jahns on June 30, 1972 in Juneau. He spent many decades co-owning and operating Tower Lanes in Beaver Dam. You could often find him in the bowling alley pro shop meticulously drilling holes until they were perfect for each individual bowler. He was precise in everything he would do and was glad to share his talents with others. Bob would volunteer his machinist skills to other racers and in the 60’s he was a stock car driver at Raceway Park in Beaver Dam. He enjoyed golfing and once shot a double eagle on a par 5. His sense of humor will be missed by many.

Bob is survived by his children, David (Barbara) Jahns of Fox Lake, Bernie (Carol) Jahns of Fox Lake, Linda (Gary) Griepentrog of Beaver Dam, and Tim  (fiancée, Angela Przekurat) Jahns of Beaver Dam; 24 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Dorothy Schwoch of Horicon, Milton Firari of Beaver Dam, Louis (Kathy) Firari of Necdah, Herbert (Delores) Firari of Lowell, Shirley Breit of Brownsville, Nancy (John) Dippong of Lowell, and Joe Firari of Cincinnati, OH; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Phyllis in 1968 and Gladys in 2014; brothers, Raymond and Edward; and sister, JoAnn Breit.
