Obituary: Clifford “Cliff” Tomas Ferguson

Clifford “Cliff” Tomas Ferguson of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at his home.

Cliff was born in the town of Rockbridge, Richland County, WI, the son of Orla and Lucille (Shaw) Ferguson. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. On October 26, 1985, he was united in marriage to Susan Purvis in Juneau, WI. He owned and operated Cliff’s Radiator Shop in Beaver Dam for many years and also worked at Badger Radiating in Madison. He was a member of the Beaver Dam Rod & Gun Club, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, as well as bowling in his earlier years.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Susan of Beaver Dam; his children, Darrin Ferguson and Jodie Ferguson, both of Montello; his step-son, John Skinner of Fox Lake; his brother, Marvin (Janet) Ferguson of Richland Center; his brother-in-law, Clyde Purvis of Columbus; sister-in-law, Cindy (Chuck) Ritter of Stoughton and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.

Visitation for Cliff will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam. Pastor Jerome M. Rohrmayer will officiate. Following the service, a luncheon will be served at Cornerstone. In honoring Cliff’s wishes, casual attire is requested.
