Obituary: Bonnie Francis Seamans

Bonnie Francis Seamans, 92 years old, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at her home.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Bob and Sharon’s old home, 2722 Country Court Dr., Reedsburg.

Bonnie was born on November 13, 1922 to Roy and Tressa (Truesdale) Kinser in Webster City, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Craig B. Seamans on December 23, 1939 in Reedsburg, WI. Bonnie was employed as a nursing assistant in Reedsburg. Together with her husband she also ran an ag-lime business in Reedsburg.

Bonnie was a former member of First Baptist Church in Reedsburg. She taught Sunday School and Bible School. Bonnie loved playing the piano, baking, sewing, quilting, and crocheting.

Bonnie is survived by: her daughter Constance (William) Elder of Columbus; her son,  Robert (Sharon) Seamans of Montello; her sisters: Jean Sussek of Richland Center and Clara Seamans of Texas; 6 grandchildren: Sarah Elder, Gabriel Elder, Megan (Brian) Wopat, and Melissa (Mark) Ryan, 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Craig in 1984, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and 1 great grandchild Ghea.
