Obituary: Allen R. Monheim

Allen R. Monheim, age 65 of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 7, 2015 at his home.

Allen was born in Rib Lake, WI on June 5, 1950 to Albert and Mary (Geitner) Monheim. He graduated  from Wisconsin Heights High School in Mazomanie, WI and later worked at John Deere in Horicon for over 30 years until his retirement. Allen enjoyed playing darts, bowling and coaching youth bowling in his earlier years as well as being a Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan.  Allen was well liked and enjoyed being social in the community.

Allen is survived by his children, Kim Monheim of Greenfield, Jodi Fields, Jeff (Emma) Monheim, Mike Monheim all of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Lee, Khalil, Wesley, Sebastion and Isaac.  He is further survived by four sisters, Betty (Ira) of Sauk City, Sharon of Mazomanie, WI, Mary Ann of Hebron, IL and Pat of Armenia, WI along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Edward and Donald Bahr, a sister and other relatives.

A Memorial Gathering for Allen will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 135 Keller Blvd. in Beaver Dam from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Inurnment will take place at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
