Obituary: Lukas A. Jaeger

Lukas A. Jaeger, 17, of Juneau tragically passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 after being struck by a vehicle while walking with his friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Parish in Horicon with Rev. Father Mike Petri celebrating the mass.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Parish, and also on Friday, October 2nd from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Juneau.

Lukas Allen was born the son of Allen and Michelle (Treder) Jaeger on June 1, 1998 in Waupun, Wisconsin. 

Lukas was a funny, charismatic, beautiful soul; the spirit of Lukas was infectious.  He was a senior at Dodgeland High School in Juneau and a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Horicon.  He loved to play video games and magic cards and to teach Parkour to his nephew Cameron and other kids.  His main hobbies were his girlfriend and practicing Parkour with his Parkour brothers.

Lukas had big dreams; he wanted to see the country with his Parkour brothers and planned to be a stunt double.  He later wished to become an EMT to help others.  Last, but not least, his family wishes for Lukas to be remembered for the HERO that he was.

Lukas is survived by his parents: Michelle and Allen Jaeger of Juneau; his sisters: Felicia Treder (Jayson Pierce) of Juneau and Lori Jaeger (Zachary Schultz) of Beaver Dam; his nephew Cameron Treder of Juneau; maternal grandpa Clarence Treder of Juneau, paternal grandma Charlotte Jaeger of Reeseville, his girlfriend Sarah Radant of Watertown and all of Lukas’ brothers in Parkour, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandma Christine Treder, paternal grandfather Herbert Jaeger, his aunt Lorie Johannes, and a friend, who was like a brother, Ethan Plath.
