Secretary of Department of Tourism to Be Crowned
at Midwest Cream Cheese Competition!
This year there will be a number of celebrity judges at the Midwest Cream Cheese Competition (MCCC), including Stephanie Klett, Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism who is also a former Miss Wisconsin. During the event Secretary Klett will be recognized for her promotion of tourism in the state and her role as a special Ambassador for cream cheese at this year’s MCCC.
Contestants who are present around the time of the judging of the Ultimate Cheesecake Contest will have the opportunity to get their photos taken with her or any of the celebrity judges at this year’s event.
All entries for the 2015 MCCC are being covered by a sponsorship from Alliant Energy, so the cost to enter is absolutely free for as many recipes as a contestant wishes to enter!
This year’s event is being held on a Hunter’s Widows weekend and includes a Wine and Cheese Tasting event, in conjunction with the MCCC, at the Beaver Dam Country Club. All registrations require a physical food entry, due on Saturday, November 21, 2015, for judging. All entries will be judged on both taste and appearance, by a panel of cream cheese experts, local officials and celebrity judges.
