The former Mildred Alice Voigt was born on August 5, 1932 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to the late Alvin and Florence (Schutte) Voigt.  After graduating from Beaver Dam High School in 1951, Millie was united in marriage with Joseph Rechek on May 10, 1952 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.  The dedication of their life, and over 63 years of marriage and wedded bliss, encountered years of farm life where Joe and Millie counted on each other. After eight children, 26 grandchildren, and 44 great grandchildren and counting, their life was still bonded in love and commitment to each other. Millie worked at the Beaver Dam Pathology Lab for 25 years.  After her family was raised and on their own, Millie enjoyed the many birthday and holiday celebrations with family and friends.  She particularly enjoyed having the grandchildren and great grandchildren at her home.  Millie enjoyed music, especially old-time music and country music.  She was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Parish.

Survivors include her husband Joe Rechek of Beaver Dam; four sons, Michael (Kim) Rechek of Eden, Gerry (Cindy) Rechek of Beaver Dam, Daniel (Coleen) Rechek Randolph, and Brian (Sue) Rechek of Beaver Dam; three daughters, Mary (Andy) Rechek of Randolph, Valerie (Steve) Riese of Beaver Dam, and Cindy Nelson of Beaver Dam; son-in-law, Jim Stockwell of Waupun; two brothers, Ollie Voigt and Harvey (Ellen) Voigt, both of Beaver Dam; 26grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patricia Stockwell; a sister, Irene Voigt; a sister-in-law, Clara Mae Voigt; and brothers-in-law, Frank Rechek and Stan Rechek.
