The Rock River Bierfest will be held in Mayville on Saturday, February 20. This is a new event in Mayville and it will be held at the Mayville Park Pavilion from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Advance tickets are on sale now! General admission is $25 in advance. VIP tickets include a commemorative shirt and early admission at 2:00 p.m. but are no longer available to purchase in advance. Special brews will be available for VIP participants while it lasts as well as some giveaways by the brewers. Tickets at the door are $5 more. (VIP tickets at the door do not include a shirt.) All participants will receive a commemorative glass and program. Tickets are on sale at Mountin’s Piggly Wiggly in Mayville and on Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/rock-river-bierfest-tickets-19764590422?aff=ebrowse. Tickets are also available from members of the Mayville Rotary Club.
Featured craft brewers include 3 Sheeps, Keweenaw, 8th Street Ale Haus, Hop Garden, Sprecher, Ciderboys, Galena Brewing, Sweet Mullets, Knuth Brewing, Point, Plymouth Brewing, Port Huron and Lake Louie. Food will also be a big part of the event. Those attending can expect to enjoy food from Marsibilios Trattoria, The Pub, Blublitz, Subway, Don Ramon’s, The Open Door, Confections by Joel, Widmer’s Cheese and Old Fashioned Foods. This is all included with your ticket purchase. Local restaurants will also be giving away coupons for dinner after the event.
Other activities at the bierfest include a silent auction, live music by Mark Wayne and the Marquette basketball game and other sports on big screen televisions. There is no admission charge for those who wish to just participate in the silent auction and watch sports on the big screen televisions on the lower level of the pavilion.
