Charlotte L. Reifsnider, age 93, of Beaver Dam, died on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Charleston House.
The memorial gathering will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Chris Davis will be officiating and inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
The former Charlotte Louise Spielman was born on June 16, 1922 in the Town of Westford, Dodge County, Wisconsin, to Richard and Viola (McMillan) Spielman. She was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School and on May 4, 1946 was united in marriage with John C. Reifsnider. She was dedicated to raising her children and also worked for Weyenberg Shoe Factory in Beaver Dam. Charlotte was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the American Legion Auxiliary, and was a faithful member of Grace Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed bowling and traveling when she could, and especially loved kittens.
Survivors are her children, Judy O’Brion of Beaver Dam, and Gary (Barbara) Reifsnider of Columbus; sister, Myrl Smocke of Menomonee Falls; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband John.
