Obituary: Charlotte Louise (Weber) Linde

Charlotte Louise (Weber) Linde, resident of Beaver Dam, peacefully passed away on April 25, 2016.

Born on July 2, 1921 in Beaver Dam, Charlotte was the daughter of Ernest and and Louise (Punzel) Weber. Raised on her family’s farm, Charlotte pursued a beauty career for over 25 years. Charlotte was married to Lyman Gilbert Linde on July 12, 1943 and enjoyed traveling with him and their children for many years during his professional baseball career. Charlotte was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing cards, telling jokes and flower gardening.

Charlotte is survived by her two sons, Paul and Thomas Linde; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Randall Linde; daughter, Janet Gittus; grandson Luke Linde, three sisters, Elsie Radtke, Polly Rosenmeier and Hazel Rake; and three brothers, Leonard, Hugo and Earl Weber.

Visitation will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 11am-12pm. The funeral service will take place at 12 noon with Pastor Jeff Nicholas officiating. Burial will take place immediately afterwards at Leipsic Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

If desired, memorials in Charlotte L. Linde’s name may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
