Obituary: Jerad Carl Siewert

Jerad Carl Siewert, age 24 of Appleton and formerly of Randolph, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 25, 2016. 

Jerad was born on October 7, 1991 in Beaver Dam, the son of Daniel and Debra (Dobbratz) Siewert. He was baptized and confirmed at Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church in Randolph, and he enjoyed attending Camp Phillip in the Wautoma area as a child. Growing up on the family farm, Jerad enjoyed farming, especially working with the animals. He graduated from Waupun High School in 2010 and attended Marian University in Fond du Lac for one year. Most recently, Jerad was working as a sales associate for West Corporation in Appleton.

Jerad had a creative soul. He was naturally gifted in many ways, had a great love of reading, enjoyed music, art and graphic design, and had dreams of being a writer. He also really enjoyed cooking. He loved his family and played the uncle role well, truly treasuring his niece and nephews. In his free time, he liked playing disc golf and golf.

Jerad will be deeply missed by his parents, Dan and Deb of Randolph; his two brothers, Bo  and his wife Casey Siewert and their children, Ryleigh, Zander and Rhett of Fox Lake; and Dylan Siewert of Randolph; his grandparents, David and Joan Siewert of Randolph and David and Beverly Dobbratz of Randolph; his aunts and uncles, Bruce and Cheryl Siewert of Burnett, Steve and Deb Dobbratz and their daughter Bailey of Rio, Dale and Jenny Dobbratz and their children Sam and Emma of Oregon, WI, Pia DeYoung and her children Brent, Brandon and Christian of Cummins, GA; other relatives and many friends.

Jerad was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal great-grandparents.

Visitation for Jerad will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam and also on Monday, May 2 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Cornerstone. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam with Fr. Mike Wild officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Emily Cemetery, town of Fox Lake.
