There will be a memorial gathering for Ramona at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Ramona was born on June 5, 1936 in Horicon, Wisconsin to the late Walter and Gertrude (Pagel) Persha.   She grew up on a farm in Horicon where she began her life-long love of animals.  Ramona worked as a Unit Clerk at Hillside Manor.  She took great pride in caring for people at the Manor and worked there until she was 75 years old – and loved every minute of it.  As dedicated as she was at work, family was her number one priority; she loved her children and grandchildren.  Ramona enjoyed shopping, going to the casinos, crocheting, needle point and traveling.  Her favorite trip was to Florida because she was able to visit Disney World.

Survivors include her children, Don (Lori) Williams of Beaver Dam, Dale (Mona) Williams of Beaver Dam, and Sheryl Williams of Waupun; four grandchildren, Ashley Williams (fiancé John Seifert), Ryan Williams (fiancée Ashley Schleppenbach), Adam (Charlotte) Williams, and Bonnie (Mike Gills) Williams-Gills; two great grandchildren, Joshua and Cecilia; one brother and a sister, Dennis (Lynn) Persha of Horicon, Sandi Thomas of Green Brier, TN, Special friends Mike Yasger (Mary Heineche) of Horicon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother-in-law, Mike Thomas.

If desired, memorials may be made in Ramona’s name to Hillside Homecare / Hospice, 709 South University Avenue, Beaver Dam, WI  53916.
