Obituary: La Vern Frederick Neuberger

La Vern Frederick Neuberger, 87, of Reeseville passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Private family graveside services will be held at the Lowell Cemetery in Lowell.

La Vern was born the son of Alex and Frieda (Strobel) Neuberger on January 7, 1929 in Lowell.  On January 15, 1950, he was united in marriage to Vida R. Firari in Lowell.

La Vern had been a dairy farmer for five years.  He had been employed in construction in Milwaukee.  Later, he was employed with Jakels Company as a welder foreman for over 25 years.  He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Lowell.  He was also a member of AARP.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Vida; his children: Dennis (Marcia) Neuberger of Beaver Dam, Dale (Debbie) Neuberger of Reeseville and Darcel “Darcy” (Daniel) Rydquist of Juneau; his grandchildren and their families: Jason, Jodi, Keytra, Kyler, Khloe, Shallon, Greg, Harmony, Hudson, Caseton, Danielle, Patrick, Ashlyn, Brinley, Shawndel, Tim, Riley, Hadley, Travis, Katie, Landri, Finley, Acelynn, GeNelle and fiancé John Petrie, Terra, Mike, MaKenna, Aubree, Zack, Eli and Greyson; and two brothers: Earl (La Vonne) Neuberger and Wayne (Judy) Neuberger both of Reeseville.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step mother Bernice, and two great grandchildren.
