Obituary: Veda (Pat) Frinak

Veda (Pat) Frinak, a resident of Golden Living Center – Continental Manor in Randolph died on Thursday, December 10, 2015.

Veda was born on August 8, 1916 in Highland Park, Illinois to Swedish immigrants Hannah (Carlson) and Martin Anderson. She was married to Leslie A. Frinak Sr. on August 24, 1940. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Beaver Dam.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Susan (Mark) Wilterding of Wilton CT, Leslie (Vicki) Frinak Jr. of Beaver Dam, and Patricia (Gordon Kohl) Frinak of Randolph. She is further survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law, Sherman Frinak, one sister-in-law, Carol Frinak, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Bertil, Arne, Verne, Vega and her husband in 1994.

The family wishes to express profound gratitude to all of her caregivers, especially Hillside Hospice and the staff at Continental Manor in Randolph.

A memorial gathering for Veda will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church, 215 Gould St., Beaver Dam with Rev. Chris Davis officiating.

Memorials in Veda’s name may be directed to Hillside Hospice or Grace Presbyterian Church.
