Bret Michaels takes the stage on Friday, August 19th of the 2016 Dodge County Fair. Arrive early to watch the many free stages throughout the grounds like Kandu the Magic Show, Chainsaw Artist, Pig Races and Wild World of Animals.

Michaels first rose to fame as the frontman of Poison. As one of rock’s most iconic and enduring bands, Poison defined the fast, gritty, and glamorous rock ‘n’ roll scene. Bret Michaels’ solo career has been equally successful: his most recent solo album, “Custom Built,” released in July of 2010, topped the charts, reaching #1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock list. His current solo tour, “Get Your Rock On” is selling out arenas across the country.

An unstoppable showman, Bret has toured as a solo artist for 15 years, breaking attendance records at venues with sell out crowds. Bret’s touring schedule is one of the largest of any current artist.Due to Bret’s extreme media exposure, including his hit Reality TV shows and appearances, unlike most artists who appeal to a limited demographic reach, his fan base encompasses three generations of loyal fans that span from age 10 to 80. His multi genre albums that span from rock to country, enables Bret to reach almost every demographic, which fuels his immense draw to shows.
