Obituary: Carole M. Graff

Carole M. Graff, 91, formerly of Wauwatosa, WI died on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Randolph where she resided for the last three years.

Carole was born on April 4, 1925 in the Township of Westford, Dodge Co. where she attended Sunlit Grade School and Beaver Dam High School.  After high school, she went to Fond du Lac for further secretarial training.  Carole lived in Milwaukee with her aunts and moved to Florida with them for a few years before returning to Milwaukee where she resided most of her adult life.  She was employed many years with the Medical College of Wisconsin.  Traveling was one of Carole’s greatest joys; and she and her roommate Vivian saw much of the world.

Carole is survived by her sisters-in-law: Emajean (Donald) Graff and Elaine (Kenneth) Graff; as well as six nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Alma Graff; her brothers: Donald and Kenneth and a brother in infancy, Clifford.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Beaver Dam.  The Rev. Michael Erwin will officiate.  A visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment will take place at Annunciation Catholic Cemetery, Lost Lake, WI.
