Obituary: Larry L. Wendlandt

Larry L. Wendlandt, age 72 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at his home.

Larry was born on March 3, 1944 in Ripon, the son of Myron and Margaret (Lenz) Wendlandt.  He attended school in Markesan, Cty Hwy. F and graduated from Fox Lake High School on June 2, 1962.  On June 27, 1964 Larry was united in marriage to Yvonne E. Litscher in Markesan.  He worked in the office as a payroll supervisor for Monarch Range from June of 1962 till they closed in the early 1980’s.  Larry later worked for Bonded Collectors of Beaver Dam until retiring in 1995. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing shuffleboard, wintering in Florida since January of 1992 and especially enjoyed his time on the water fishing with his son Rick.

Larry is survived by his wife Yvonne of Beaver Dam; son Rick (Jenny) Wendlandt of Beaver Dam; sister in law, Nancy (Jim) Reuter of Montello and is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and other relatives.

A Memorial Service for Larry will be on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kathy Gloff officiating at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 135 Keller Blvd. in Beaver Dam.  A Memorial Gathering will also take place on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Cornerstone from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 11:00 a.m.  Inurnment will take place at Markesan Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials in Larry’s name may be directed to Hillside Hospice.
