Terence L. “Terry” Bork, 61, of Beaver Dam passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer.
A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Horicon on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Horicon with military honors conducted by the Horicon American Legion Post #157.
Terence was born the son of Cyril and Jeannette Hugo (Pagel) Bork on October 28, 1954 in Lowell, WI. He was married to Judy Pegelow on December 1, 2006 at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon. Terry was employed with LaGrange Salvage & Recycling for 35 years.
Terry was a veteran of U.S. Army during the Vietnam War Era. Terry was a true handyman who was known as everyone’s go-to guy. He was everyone’s favorite brother and uncle. Terry will be remembered as a truly selfless man who always put other people’s needs in front of his own.
Terry is survived by his wife, Judy Pegelow-Bork of Beaver Dam; his two children: Keith Bork of Beaver Dam and Terra (Jordan) Knoflicek of Fort Atkinson; his two step-children: Cheryl Schultz of Beaver Dam and Steven Bork of Lowell; his grandson, Brendan Knoflicek; six step-grandchildren: Tifany Dietz, Tyler, Branden, and Coby Schultz, and Savannah and Emily Bork; his brothers: Roger Bork of Fall River, Peter (Bev Gibson) Bork of Beaver Dam, and Lynn Bork of Beaver Dam; his sisters: Pamela Tietz of Two Rivers and Kathleen (Joe) Ballweg of Randolph; his special friend, Dale Ronzani; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Sherry Lumby; his brothers: Donald, Michael, Timothy, and Cyril; his step-son, Darrell Jauert; son-in-law, Kyle Schultz; and his close friend and father figure, Delano “Fritz” Rahn.
