Obituary: Eunice E. Frisbie

Eunice E. Frisbie, 102, a resident of Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam and formerly of Lowell passed away on Tuesday, November 08, 2016 at Hillside Manor surrounded by her family.

Eunice was born the daughter of Edwin and Lillie (Ott) Marquart on November 30, 1913 in Knowles, Dodge Co., WI.  She was married to Robert A. Frisbie on August 29, 1946 in Knowles, WI.  Eunice was a 1930 graduate of Mayville High School.  Following her graduation from Dodge County Normal School, she taught in Knowles for a short time.  Afterwards, Eunice dedicated her life as a homemaker and farm wife.

Eunice was an active and dedicated member of the Lowell United Methodist Church where she served as a member of the Methodist Women.  She along with her husband Robert were 4-H leaders for many years.  Eunice enjoyed decorating and rosemaling as well as tending to her large garden.  Eunice loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Eunice is survived by her three children: Joyce de Vries of Beaver Dam, Alan Frisbie of Juneau, and Duane Frisbie of Cedar Falls, IA; her eight grandchildren: Benjamin (special friend, Sarah) Frisbie, Andrew (special friend, Jessica) Frisbie, Dianna (special friend, Amy) Frisbie, Elizabeth (fiancé, Bryan) Frisbie, Danelle (Nick) Frisbie Baade, Jared (Lisa) Frisbie-Teel, Adam Frisbie, and Joyhannah Frisbie; her great-grandchildren: Juneau, Meleao, Jacqueline, Josephine and a 5th great-grandchild on the way; her brother-in-law, Lester Unferth of Cambellsport; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert in 1991, her sisters: Florence Metke, Ruth Panzer, Marie Georg, Lois Marquart, and Arlene Unferth; her brother, Reuben Marquart and a brother in infancy.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral at Noon at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.  Interment will take place at Lowell Cemetery in Lowell, WI.
