Paul R. Weber, age 85 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Landmark at Charleston House in Beaver Dam.
Paul was born on March 3, 1931 in Beaver Dam, the son of John N. and Agnes (Thiede) Weber. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 5th Regimented Combat Team during the Korean War. On January 28, 1961, he was united in marriage to Myrtle Pritchard in Beaver Dam. He worked at Fliteway in Horicon as a shipping clerk for many years. Paul was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam, as well as the John E. Miller American Legion Post 146 and Clarence Keske VFW Post 1163. He loved fishing, hunting and watching the Brewers, Badgers and Packers. He enjoyed spending time with this family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Paul is survived by his son, John Weber of Juneau; daughter, Shelby (Scott) Weber-Dutzle of Mayville; grandchildren, Katelyn (Kyle) Broome of Beaver Dam and Cody (Jamie) Weber of Beaver Dam; great-granddaughter, Adaleigh Broome; siblings, John Weber, James Weber, Ted Weber, Barbara Schwarze, Mary Lou Oescher and Agnes Fredrickson; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his son, Pete Weber; his brother, Al Weber; his sister, Elaine Schultz; brother-in-law, Don Schwarze and sisters-in-law, Betty and Ruth Weber.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 12:00 noon until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m.Deacon Ed Cody will officiate. Inurnment will take place at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Beaver Dam at a later date.
