The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank Countryside Auto Group in Beaver Dam, WI for their donation of $5000 to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office K9 fund. During the month of April, Countryside Auto Group promised a portion of all vehicle sale proceeds to be donated to the K9 fund as we work to add a third K9 on our K9 team.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office currently has two K9s.  K9 Ziva, a 7 year old black lab and K9 Kid, a 3 year old German Shepherd.  Both K9s are valuable resources to the sheriff’s office and are trained in detection of narcotics, the ability to track lost or fleeing subjects and K9 Kid is also trained in handler protection.

Our next K9 team will be selected soon and will be announced to the public at the appropriate time.  We thank Keith Ghanian, President of Countryside Auto Group for the continued support of the community.  It is a great honor to have Keith and all of Countryside Auto Group support law enforcement as they helps us to keep our communities safe.

Accompanying this release is a photo of Keith Ghanian as he presented the check to Sheriff Dale Schmidt.

Questions may be directed to Sheriff Dale J Schmidt.
