Obituary: Casmir W. Klapper Jr.

Casmir W. Klapper Jr., age 77 of Milwaukee and formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017.

Casmir was born on November 27, 1939 in Juneau, the son of Casmir W. and Mary Anne L. (Bell) Klapper Sr. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1958 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He later relocated to the Milwaukee area, where he enjoyed working for John Plewa at Plewa Property Services for over 30 years, and later also for the Milwaukee Brewers.

Casmir is survived by his siblings, Eva (special friend Bruce Pinkerton) Zanto of Waupun, Betty (Gerald) Michael of Beaver Dam, Mary Miller of Wyocena, John (Judy) Klapper of Oklahoma, Terry (Dori) Klapper of Beaver Dam and William (Marcy) Klapper of Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother in infancy, Larry Lee Klapper, and sister, Carole Schepp.

In honoring Casmir’s wishes, a private memorial gathering was held.
