Judith A. Italiano, age 69, of Beaver Dam, died peacefully with her girls and sisters at her side, on Friday, December 29, 2017, at her home.
The memorial gathering for Judy will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Judith Ann Italiano was born on July 26, 1948 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to John and Dorothy (Thiel) Italiano. Judy’s kindness always shined throughout her life. She was always a go-getter and succeeded at anything she put her mind to. She was a cheerleader in high school and was the Varsity Captain her Senior Year. Judy was loved by her peers and was voted prom queen. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1966. In March of 1969, Judy married Wayne Schneider at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam and was blessed with four daughters. She was active with the Beaver Dam Community Theatre behind the scenes and as a performer. Judy attended Moraine Park Technical College and earned her associates degree as an LPN. Her career path changed and she became the Librarian at Wilson School in Beaver Dam for many years. She retired in 2015 after touching the lives of countless children. Judy’s true joy in life was her children and grandchildren. She loved being a Nonna and she will be forever missed.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Scott) Davies of Charlotte, NC, Wendy (Chris) Meier of Beaver Dam, Heather (Curtis) Broome of Oakland, CA, and Nina (Tony) Thomas of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Nina and Stuart Davies, Morgan and Easton Meier, CJ Broome, and Tia and Logan Thomas; sisters, Rochelle (Les) Pufahl of Beaver Dam and Mary Jo (Warren) Kuenzi of Beaver Dam; her former husband, Wayne (Kate) Schneider of Beaver Dam; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Cal Meier.
