Sweet Thanks will be held on Friday March 2nd from 5:30-9:00pm at the Chapel of the Archangels, 839 Madison St, BeaverDam. Join WBEV/WXRO’s Lezli Young and Brenda Murphy as they MC the evening featuring a live auction, silent auction, mystery dessert boxes, and items to snack on! Bid on the most delicious desserts in Dodge County as Julius Temkin hosts the live dessert auction. We can promise you an evening of fun for a great cause!
Tickets are available for $15.00 each at Rechek’s Food Pride, Piggly Wiggly, and will also be available for purchase at the door. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted for live and silent auction items and all proceeds from this event go to PAVE to assist victims and survivors in our community.
All proceeds from Sweet Thanks goes to PAVE, Dodge County’s domestic violence and sexual assault victim service agency. PAVE works to empower those affected by violence. We do this using a three part approach – crisis services, community collaboration, and prevention education. All of our services are free. Our crisis services are also confidential and available to both those that stay in shelter and to those that continue to live in the community. Our approach acknowledges the myriad of struggles facing those who have experienced trauma, focusing on supporting each victim/survivor’s choices and educating them in options for a violence free future.
