Modern Woodmen fundraiser for The Gathering Source a success

Beaver Dam Modern Woodmen of America members recently partnered with The Gathering Source to raise money at their annual Spring to Action fundraiser on April 6, 2018. This year the theme was A Night In Hawaii!
The event, which included a live and silent auction, raffles and delicious food by Chef Chanse raised $10,000, including $500 from Modern Woodmen’s Matching Fund Program. The funds will be used to support The Gathering Source Mission of caring for hunger, education and wellness in its rural communities.
The Matching Fund Program offers Modern Woodmen members nationwide the chance to show their support for a community cause, organization or individual in need through fundraisers. These fundraising projects contribute more than $10 million to community needs across the country each year.
Coordinated by local Modern Woodmen members, the fraternal financial services organization’s Summit chapters, chapters and youth service clubs provide opportunities for members to take part in social and educational activities and volunteer projects to meet local needs.
