Jean Militello moved on to her next adventure on May 19, 2018.

She is survived by everyone reading this, and especially her fellow black beauties. Her family went beyond the traditional definitions and included too many to mention.

Her life was incredibly full and filled with love, laughter and stories. Jean’s beauty shined from the inside, and filled everyone around her with warmth.

The door was always open at 1420 for love, fun, laughter, tears, cookies and sparkles. We thank her for the legacy of The Poof.

She emptied her bucket list. She met Michael Franti. She saw the Beatles. She travelled everywhere except Antarctica.  She always stood up for underdogs, and gave generously to everyone in her life.

We had more laughs than tears, and life was better with you, Jeanie Girl

In honor of Jean’s wishes, there will be no services of any kind.

In lieu of cards, casseroles, visits or flowers, please sprinkle your sparkle wherever you go, and send donations in her name to the Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre, 219 N. Spring Street, Beaver Dam, WI 53916.  www.BDACT.org

Later on, when everyone isn’t so sad, the family will hold a celebration of her amazing life. Thank you to the inner circle for your love, support and kind messages over the last week.  We know Jean touched your lives indelibly, and we all miss her.  Her family thanks you in advance for respecting their privacy during this difficult time.
