Obituary: Jeremie L. Schultz, age 47

Jeremie L. Schultz, age 47, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

There will be a memorial gathering at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.  A memorial service will follow at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.  There will be a luncheon at The Watermark, 209 S. Center St in Beaver Dam, immediately following the service.

Jeremie Lee Schultz was born on April 30, 1971 in Columbus, Wisconsin to Gordon and Cheryle (nee Lange) Schultz.  He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1989.  Jeremiewas a proud owner and operator of his cleaning business, Pioneer Floor Maintenance, for 26 years.  He also worked for the Columbus School District as the Head Custodian at the Columbus Elementary School where he was known as “Mr. Jeremie” and thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the children.  Jeremie was a “pay it forward” type of man; no matter how busy he was, you could always count on him to help you.  Anyone who knew Jeremie knew he hadthe gift of gab, he and had an infectious smile and when it was time to relax, Jeremie loved the outdoors and could be found either hunting, fishing, or spending time with his close friends and family. He loved to garden, loved imitating voices of people, he was renowned for giving nicknames to everyone, he was never at a loss for a pun. He had big dreams to make a lot of things, but put his dreams aside to provide for his family. Jeremie always over did things…he had a “Go big or go home attitude…have you seen his garage? He will be dearly missed by so many people.

Jeremie is survived by his wife, Naomi of Beaver Dam; three children, Jonathon (Autumn) Schultz, Kirra Schultz, and Wesley Schultz, all of Beaver Dam; his mother, Cheryle (James) Brock of Beaver Dam; five brothers and sisters, Gordon (Deborahe) Schultz of Cross Plains, Aaron Schultz, Brian Schultz, Beth (Shawn) Gagliano, and Robert Schultz, all of Beaver Dam; his maternal grandmother, Carol Lange of Oshkosh; an uncle-but more like a father, Eugene Schultz of Beaver Dam; other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father
