Obituary: Pamela Jean Smith, age 59

Pamela Jean Smith, age 59, of DeForest, passed away September 10, 2018 while surrounded by family at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI.

Pam was born on January 28, 1959 to Carol Smith and Floyd Smith in Dodge County, Wisconsin and later graduated from Lomira High School in 1977.  Pam attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and earned her degree in Music Education – Vocal and Instrumental. She taught music in Argyle, Waterloo, and most recently in DeForest at Yahara Elementary School.

Pam is survived by her children Colleen and Daniel; her sisters Cheryl (Gerry)Meyer, Barb (Bob) Breitag, Joy (Ed) Kikkert, and Tina Rawlins. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, her nephew, Eric Meyer, and her brother-in-law, Jay Rawlins.

Visitation will be at Lodi United Methodist Church, 130 Locust Street in Lodi, Wisconsin on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 12:00PM to time of service. The memorial service will follow at the church on Monday at 2:00PM with Pastor Marge Rice Myers officiating.  Inurnment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery in Lomiraat a later date.
