Metalcraft of Mayville Builds on its Automation Capabilities by Acquiring Gamache Systems

Metalcraft of Mayville Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Gamache Systems, located in New Berlin, WI, effective April 10, 2019.

“We are very excited to expand our Automation Division of Metalcraft of Mayville,” said Metalcraft CEO, Martin Gallun. “With Gamache’s history of success in working with well-known Wisconsin companies, we see a tremendous amount of opportunity to grow our business.”

According to Mr. Gallun, Gamache Systems’ skill set compliments Metalcraft’s recent acquisition of FJR Systems and gives them specialized engineering capability to add to the recently formed Automation Division of Metalcraft. As a result of this transaction, Metalcraft will have the opportunity to expand its technical skill, customer base, and presence in the manufacturing automation market. Gallun also added, “I believe this will be a win-win for both organizations, and I am excited about the synergies between Gamache and FJR.”

The company’s foundation belief that “Employees Make the Difference” remains evident, as Metalcraft will retain all existing employees of Gamache Systems. Mike Gamache, Gamache Systems former owner, will also be retained, taking on a new role as Business Development Manager. Additionally, this acquisition does not impact the employment status for anyone in Metalcraft’s other three facilities (West Bend, Mayville and Beaver Dam), and the company will continue its hiring and growth strategies as recently communicated to its workgroups.
