The American Association of University Women’s (AAUW) 24th annual scholarship gift basket auction will be held Wednesday October 17, 2018 at Old Hickory Golf Club. A social begins at 5:00 p.m. when guests will have an opportunity to view the theme-filled baskets for the silent and live auction.
Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. and is $30 – your choice of beef medallions, fish, veggie stir fry, complete with rolls, salad, potato, vegetable, coffee/tea, and dessert. Silent auction closes at 6:50. Auctioneer Nathan Weyenberg returns by popular demand to start the live auction at 7:00 p.m. Door prizes will be awarded through out the evening.
This event makes it possible for our local branch of AAUW to provide two to three $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors each year. Our mission is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research. Come join us for a fun night out with friends.
