Beaver Dam will welcome two rock music sensations to town on August 17. Fans will sing along to hit-after-recognizable-hit when both Great White and Slaughter perform at the Dodge County Fair on Saturday evening. The back-to-back concert begins promptly at 8:00 pm. Fans will want to arrive early, as seats are not reservable. Admission is free and included with gate admission to the fair on Saturday (daily admission is only $7 before Noon or $10 after).

Both groups reached stardom more than three decades ago. This much-anticipated concert will provide hours of entertainment, as fans can get up close with both acts for the very first time in front of the Beaver Dam stage. This the first time that either band has performed at the Dodge County Fair. Fans won’t want to miss this local stop on their international tours.

Great White has held nearly 400 show dates in the past four years, including several sold-out performances worldwide. This year, Great White is also touring with Skid Row, Vince Neil, and Queensryche to name a few legends. Limited crowds also enjoyed rare, acoustic performances along the tour.

In the past five years, Slaughter has performed on more than 300 stages on international tours. Slaughter has released five albums since 1990, with their first album “Stick It to Ya” going Double-Platinum. Three of their biggest hits came from that debut album, including “Fly to the Angels”, “Up All Night” and “Spend My Life”.

Fans will also be rocking-out to Great White’s repository of hits, including “Mista Bone”, “Rock Me” and “Save Your Love”. And they can never help but sing-along to their Grammy-nominated Best Hard Rock Performance hit, “Once Bitten, Twice Shy”.

Last year, Mitch Malloy took over as Great White lead vocalist, replacing Terry Ilous, who had been with the band since 2011. The band has released more than a dozen albums over its evolution since 1984. Several of their rock albums reached Platinum, Double Platinum and Gold status in the late-1980’s and early-1990’s.

Music fans will also enjoy singing along to classic rock songs from local band ALEXIS (Randolph, WI) at 5:00 pm on the Radio Park Stage (located behind the grandstand stage). Fans arriving earlier in the day on Saturday can also enjoy the horse pull at 9 am, the tractor pull at 1pm, and a chainsaw carving auction at 3 in the afternoon. Saturday is also Family Day on the Midway, where families will receive half-off midway tickets from Noon until 5:00 pm (20 tickets for only $10).

The 2019 Dodge County Fair is scheduled for August 14-18. Beaver Dam is conveniently located centrally to Milwaukee, Madison and the Fox Valley area.
