Upcoming Holiday Events – Beaver Dam area
We’ve been a little slow getting into the Christmas Spirit around here. Our tree is up and lit, but the ornaments are still packed away in the basement. And, I just unplugged our Halloween lights outside. Fortunately, there are a lot of local upcoming holiday events that are promising to help us get in the holiday mood. Here are some that our family is looking forward to!
Winter A Cappella Concert
Friday, December 3rd at 7:00 pm
Don’t miss the BDHS Winter A Cappella Concert at the Beaver Dam High School. The concert features Good Old Acapella (formally SWAZZ), Treble Threat, and Bro Re Mi.
Santa’s Hometown Holiday Adventure
Saturday, December 4th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Pick up Grinch Toast Sticks for breakfast from 9:00-11:00 at the Bayside Supper Club. Continue your holiday adventure around town for activities, giveaways, an obstacle course, character greets, and more! Check out the Chamber’s Hometown Holiday Adventure post for more information!
Cocoa Walk
Saturday, December 4th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Enjoy shopping and cocoa sampling downtown Beaver Dam. Check out the Chamber post for a list of participating stores!
Beaver Dam Holiday Parade
Saturday, December 4th at 5:30 pm.
“Songs of the Season” Holiday Parade starts at 5:30 pm and runs from 200-100 blocks of Front Street to 100-300 blocks of Spring Street.

Homes that are participating in judging will have a container at the end of their driveways for non-perishable food donations. Vote for the homes you like the most! The home with the most items gets the coveted traveling trophy.
5 at 5 Slow Roll – Holiday Lights Edition
Tuesday, December 7th at 5:00 pm
Don’t put your bike away quite yet! Join MMC BD Community Health for a 5 mile Holiday Lights Edition slow roll bike ride! The ride starts at 5:00 pm at the Watermark. The route will end back at the Watermark as well. Make sure to have your front white and rear red lights on your bike and wear lots of layers!
Downtown Waupun Holiday Parade
Friday, December 10th at 6:30 pm
Parade route is St. Joseph’s Church Parking lot, down Main Street, turning left on Fond du Lac Street, ending at E. Franklin Street intersection.
One Voice Youth Choir Holiday Concert
Friday, December 10th at 7:00 pm
Join the ONE VOICE youth chorus at the BDACT Fine Arts Center to hear some holiday favorites!
Frosty’s Annual Holiday Party
Saturday, December 11th from 11:00 am-4:00 pm
Holiday meal, bake sale, raffles and silent auctions, pictures with Santa (for kids and pets!), and more! Adoptable animals will be at the event in hopes of finding fur-ever homes for the holidays!
One Night in Bethlehem Live Nativity

First CRC of Waupun is hosting a Live Nativity, carols, meal, music, fellowship, and Sunday School Christmas Program.

BDACT performance. This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast.
Christmas Open Skate
Sunday, December 19th from 3:00-4:30 pm
Christmas Open Skate at the Beaver Dam family center will feature skating with Santa, DJ Music, Free Cookie, Ornament Decorating, and a Crazy Christmas Outfit contest!
