Tasty and Healthy Co-Exist
At Blue Zones Project Approved Restaurants in Dodge County
For some, going out to eat is an indulgence to mark a special occasion. For others, it is a regular break from the demand of preparing a homecooked meal. Either way, having a meal outside of your home should not automatically derail any positive momentum you have made toward a healthier lifestyle.
In Dodge County, it doesn’t have to, thanks to several restaurants who have optimized their offerings and made simple modifications to make healthy choices easier. Blue Zones Project Approved™ restaurants have done this without compromising the restaurant’s unique identity or their bottom line.
Restaurants have chosen to offer healthy entrées and side dishes using tasty ingredients.
Beyond the menu, simple measures such as offering half-size portions and incentivizing the healthier choices through menu language and design can dramatically increase popularity for Blue Zones Inspired dishes without reducing the options available for all patrons. This all adds up to helping you avoid mindless missteps away from your healthy eating goals.
Experience how tasty and healthy come together at Blue Zones Project Approved restaurants in Dodge County! Now through November 30, visit any Blue Zones Project Approved restaurant that is open to the public and pick up a Restaurant Promotion Postcard. Visit a minimum of three restaurants from the list. Once you have collected at least three stamps, send the postcard to the Blue Zones Project office to be entered into a drawing for $300 in gift cards. Detailed information is available on the postcard. The winner will be drawn in early December making the gift cards a great way to remove cooking dinner from your “to-do” list over the holidays. The gift cards would also make great gifts or stocking stuffers for friends and family.
